What a Monday

That's pretty much how I feel. Today, I managed to crack myself in the jaw while removing a piece of equipment from a power pole. I knew it was spring loaded, and still I was foolish enough to keep my face right up close. I pulled the pin, and WHAMMO, I was hurting. I went to the doctor's office and they told me that I have a sprain to my temporomandibular joint (jaw joint, or TMJ for those of you in the know). Now I have to wait while Worker's Comp and my company decide who I'll see for specialist work. Ouch..... At least work was going well this morning before the accident. I'm going to take my painkiller now. G'nite.

Hey Kid! Take care of yourself! No more spring loaded socks to the jaw! Sounds painfull to me. Do what the Doc says and be careful out there! :-)

I will, Dad. It only hurts right now when I chew, so I don't. I'm drinking Odwalla juice for breakfast and lunch. That way I can have my pain pill at dinner and chew on something.... Although tonight I just had some Ramen.

and I was worried about you hanging off helicopters.... Enjoyed dinner with your little bro' last night. He showed us his many blisters on his hands after 20+ hrs of drumming in his recording sessions. I guess you sure one-upped him on injury. It was great to see him again. Still waiting for a visit from you & R. Take care.
