It seems this week that I have discovered a way to make quicksand. In a failed effort to improve the makeup of the soil in my front yard, I have turned the hard clay soil into slop. I suppose that I should have looked around for more info, but I was so excited to use my new rototiller that I dove in without thinking. I meant well. I had visions of crumbly, moist, rich, black earth. It was beautiful, in my mind. Right now I have a knee deep wasteland of quicksand. I suppose that given some time, it will dry out and return to something more like normal. For now, I would reccomend to anyone to consult a professional before going crazy with a rototiller.
Oh, and by the by, it will be raining for parts of today and tomorrow. YAY!
