Today, I was transferring some electrified wires to a new pole. Suddenly, at the next pole down, the insulator broke. The wire fell down into an oppositely charged wire. BIG ball of electrical plasma. Fortunately, the wire did not melt. We were able to repair the damage. Want to see something like what I saw today at work? Go here. There are a bunch of videos.
