The Pope Must Die?

Islam is a religion of peace... Yeah right.

A nun was shot dead in Somalia by Islamic gunmen and churches came under attack in Palestine. Choudary's appeal for the death of Pope Benedict was the second time he has been linked with apparent incitement to murder within a year. thisislondon.co.uk

I don't understand the willingness of people in the world to try and placate the unreasonable demands of terror-mongers. Speak the truth plainly.

Iraqi jihadists issued a video of a scimitar slicing a cross in two, intercut with images of Benedict and the burning Twin Towers. The website run in the name of the Mujahedeen Army, used by extremist groups who have claimed responsibility for attacks in Iraq, was addressed to "You dog of Rome" and threatened to "shake your thrones and break your crosses in your home". In a reference to suicide bombing, it said: "We swear to God to send you people who adore death as much as you adore life."

Why do we backpedal? Why do we worry about whether the truth will offend? The truth is often painful. Why? Because, people are sinful.

6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

The light exposes our hearts for what they are. To those who say that Islam is a religion of peace I answer:

Psalm 5:8-10 (New International

8 Lead me, O LORD, in your righteousness
because of my enemies—
make straight your way before me.
9 Not a word from their mouth can be trusted;
their heart is filled with destruction.
Their throat is an open grave;
with their tongue they speak deceit.
10 Declare them guilty, O God!
Let their intrigues be their downfall.
Banish them for their many sins, for they
have rebelled against you

What can we come to expect from the Middle East? Likely, more of the same. Many thanks to Abraham for his impatience. They call him Ishmael.

He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone's hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers. (NIV, Genesis 16)

God knows the outcome. Actually, we all know the outcome. God wins. His children win. Join the winning family. God loves you.

I love God, Amen.
