Day Two - v1.2 beta
One night away from the hospital? Check. Diaper changing? I'm already a pro. Feeding? Well, that is actually not my department. Wrapping up the baby like a burrito? I'll be holding a technique seminar this weekend for those who are interested.
There's a lot to learn. Fortunately, Lauren is as patient a teacher as a newborn could be. I'm learning new things every day. I'm learning how she likes to sway as she is walked. I've learned that she doesn't really care for the cold air that comes with a diaper change. She loves her mom an awful lot.
Hopefully, she'll figure out when the days and nights really are. That would be good for everyone. For now, we'll just concentrate on the sleeping, eating, and changing diapers.
HEY! I updated my Flickr account. You can find some photos of the new Walker here. I know that the Snapfish can be annoying. Sorry about that. So... that said, go here for photos. Also, I have updated the links section. Go to "Stuff the Mountain Power Lineman Links To". That's all.

Our heartfelt congratulations from your family in the frozen North. You all look fabulous in the pics and Lauren Elaine is as lovely as her name. I know Grandma Susan is smiling from heaven. Much love to you all.
Thanks, everybody. We sure wish we could see you all. We love you.
Congratulations!! She is beautiful and we are so excited for you. Can't wait to meet Lauren!
Grandpa Steve is bragging to the office about his new granddaughter. Everyone loves the pictures we show them and I think Conchita has shown them to everyone! Great-grandma Nadine and Great-grandma and grandpa Walker are sure proud and enjoyed the pictures we took to them on Monday. We also made a DVD of the photos and videos for each of them to watch on the tv. They are looking forward to seeing their new great-grandchild! She sure is beautiful!
