T Minus 15 Hours

3-2-1- Contact.

The baby is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Your prayers will be much appreciated. It feels weird to schedule a baby, but we can't wait much longer. After all, she is somewhere around 9 lbs. I know that there have been bigger babies, but if you've seen how small my wife is... well, it will be some work. If all goes as planned, I'll be the new father to a beautiful baby girl by this time tomorrow. At least I hope it doesn't take R. too long. The whole thing makes me excited and nervous. And, since my baby is going to be a girl, I get to worry about her for the rest of my life.

Look for an update this weekend.

Oh, by the by. No snow today. Thank goodness.

Yes. Very good that there was no snow, although still just a little disappointing. It would definitely have been an inconvenience, but what a great inconvenience to have. "I'm sorry we can't come to work today. It snowed. I've got to stay home and make snowmen and hit unsuspecting* people with snowballs."

*If anyone is ever unsuspecting during a snowstorm, they deserve to be hit with a snowball.

Also, I meant to put in something about how you're about to have a baby and snow would certainly be frustrating when trying to get to the hospital. But hey, you're scheduled. You're set. It's all good.

I'll be praying for you.

Love, James.

Oh, we are so excited for you and R. around here! Baby Q.'s first friend will be born tomorrow. :) We will pray for you all day. And if you get hungry, give us a call. We know husbands need snacks when labor gets long. We deliver. :)
