In A World, Where People Love One Another... not coming to a theater, television, or radio station near you.

I know that my blog has been a big zero, of late. I haven't felt like commenting on anything that I've seen in the wide world of the web. Does anyone want to talk about the racial divide, as evidenced by the Don Imus debacle, to any real degree? Probably not. Does anyone want to admit that ours is a generation of thin-skinned, professional offendees? Nah. Do I want to keep listening to the talking heads? Negatory.

I have been listening to my new mp3 player (thanks to my employer for the VISA gift card). Since I am a little lazy, I haven't made it around to putting my CD collection to hard-drive. What I have done, is download a bucketful of podcasts. I've uploaded to my insiGnia, the previously mentioned NPR "Intelligence Squared " debates, all of my uncle's (the Rain City Pastor) sermons, Bored Again Christian podcasts, and Thistlepod previews (with Fiona Richie). I like being able to listen to my own programming. The most of all, I have enjoyed listening to the podcasts of Bethany Community Church. Go here to learn how.

I'm taking a break from the traditional news media. I'm a little weary of, and broken-hearted for the world we live in. I'm going to take another listen to those sermons, sing to my baby, and think about how to live in the world without being "of it". Talk to you later.
