Somehow I have managed to avoid posting for the past week. I suppose that it reflects the amount of things that I have to talk about. I would post every day, if I thought that anyone cared to read about how my baby has been grabbing at her feet, or how she babbled at me.
This last weekend we went back up to the mountain house. It was a lot of fun raking up three quarters of an acre's worth of pine needles. Seriously, it was. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to be able to take care of a house on a daily basis. I love to just hang out in my own home.
At work, things have changed considerably. My immediate supervisor took a job transfer to Northern California. One day he was my boss, and then three days later... no more. Lately, there has been a great deal of change at work. There is a new regime. I think it is going to be a good reign. My new boss is familiar with my future career aspirations. My last boss was also aware of my plans, but I think that he really didn't care. My new boss has said that he would like to help train me for management - he doesn't want me to just be dumped into it. I like this. I also like my boss for the fact that he is both a calm and effective leader. Altogether, work is coming together nicely.
I'm off to the gym. Lauren's daddy is a fatty.

So are you saying that you moved back into your mountain home for the time being, or was this just another weekend getaway?
