Unlabored Days of the Weekend

This weekend we went up to our home in the hills. We (my wife, my daughter, and I) spent a lot of time visiting with our grandparents. I have to say that it is pretty cool getting to watch my grandparents play with my daughter. She loves them just as much as I do. It was really fun watching my daughter start pulling herself up to stand. She's only 7 months old, but it wouldn't surprise me if she started walking in the next couple of weeks.

As I said before, I am both excited and nervous about living in the mountains again. It's different this time, for a multitude of reasons. I'm praying that we can find a good church to go to.

One thing I am very excited about is a new store going into the Riverwalk shopping center in Fresno, on Nees and Blackstone.

is coming to Fresno!

I've always liked REI. The first one I visited was in Seattle, Washington. This flagship store features a mountain bike test trail, a 65 foot climbing tower, and floors of merchandise.

I've got to cut this short. Shorty is banging on the keys.

REI!!! Glad to see that Fresno is entering the civilized world. Now - if we can get all your starbucks to have wi-fi, or at least know what wi-fi is...

Good to watch God's movements in your life my friend... hope you can vacation in Seattle some time!

I am so excited that an REI will be so close. I was also surprised to find out that a Bass Pro Shops location to be built in Bakersfield. When did the San Joaquin become worthy of such development? It seems like only yesterday we were excited that the first Starbucks was coming to town.

I too, hope that I can bring my family up to the Emerald City sometime very soon. I hope you are all well. I love hearing your sermons on the podcast. Hearing you speak makes me think of all of my Dahlstrom relatives.
