This episode brought to you by "Consonance", Autumn, and the letter "P"
Today was a perfect day for pumpkin picking - as evidenced here. After a day of visiting with family, we capped the afternoon with a visit to Cobb Ranch.
There were pumpkins galore, pygmy goats, diminutive donkeys, miniature mares, and a couple of Zebus (not Zeebas, Mr. Croc). In fact the overriding theme of the afternoon was the preponderance of pint-sized persons. My wife and I figured that the $4 entry fee to the ranch was a cover charge for all of the photo-ops. After all, there are only so many pumpkins that one will purchase.
We didn't take the ranch up on the corn maze, tractor ride, or the bounce house. Pictures of pumpkins, pygmy goats, and Pistol Pete the miniature donkey took up most of our time. We did pick out a really cool looking "ghost" pumpkin before we went home. Likely we'll be back to Cobb Ranch for some of their brand of Christmas fun.
That's what we've been up to lately. What are you planning to do for the Fall?
