Stumble Into Something New

Have you ever grown tired of driving the same old lanes of the internet highway? Do you wish that you could find something new, yet familiar? I used to feel this way. Then, I discovered a new feature of the Firefox web browser. Check out Stumble Upon. You enter the parameters by which the browser will randomly search. Just click, and be surprised. Here is a site that I found interesting.

Dream House

At the moment, my wife and I are waiting for the home in Mariposa to sell. With the eventual sale of the the home will come the chance to purchase a new home. Our hope is that we may make just enough from the sale that we can both purchase a home here in Bake-town and find a vacant lot for sale in a mountain community.

While the chances of this are low, I am having fun dreaming of the possibilities. What I dream of is a home in the modern style. Although my wife is not as fond of the style, she and I do agree that the Sunset Breezehouse, designed by Michelle Kaufman, is an attractive home. Many of these homes are designed with the city dweller in mind. They are more affordable than building a home from scratch in cities like San Fransisco or Los Angeles. Although they are more affordable for a big city person, some of them are slightly past my price range for a second home dream.

For now, I will keep looking for that dream home, and a lot to put it on.
