Guten Tag

It seems that I have been tagged. Eight things about me in no particular order.

1. I love being at the ocean, but the thought of being in the ocean at night gives me the heebie-jeebies.

2. I may climb poles for a living, but I have yet to get used to climbing towers. I don't know why it is that I can feel fine at the top of a 100 foot pole, but I feel all awkward at the same height on a metal tower.

3. I make a pretty good omelet. (For a really good omelet, go to the Chukchansi Resort Casino in Coarsegold. Goldfield's Cafe has some great omelets)

4. I am a Journeyman Lineman with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. I don't think there are too many of those out there.

5. I have the cutest baby on earth (totally biased opinion here, folks)

6. I have been to 3 foreign countries : The United Kingdom, Mexico, and Romania. When I went to Romania, it had only been out of communist rule for about 6 years. You could still see the bullet holes in the buildings around the Piaţa Universităţii.

In Romania, I have been to several Transylvanian towns: both Sinaia and Brasov. I have seen the Black Church of Brasov, so named for the fire, set by Habsburg forces during the Great Turkish War, which turned it's walls a sooty black.

7. I have flown on a helicopter 3 times. On - not in a helicopter. It is just as much fun as it looks in the movies.

8. My favorite flavor of ice cream is Kauai Pie, made by Lapperts.
