Snow? and Sonic Youth

It was so cold today. It came as a surprise, since it had been so consistently 70 degrees and blue skies for the last week. Even today started out with clear sky. By lunchtime, the clouds were building up on the mountains. Though it remained clear blue to the west, the mountains to the east were growing darker and darker. Then a funny thing happened. Although it was bright and sunny, snow began to fall in small flakes. Fortunately, it stopped. I had forgotten my tire chains at home.
We are expecting some weather this weekend. They're predicting that snow may drop LOW.
Sounds like fun to me.

I found an article that made me laugh, here. Sonic Youth Repellant. I'm positive that I've lost the ability for this product to affect me. The thought of having it around to disperse teenagers sounds great, though.

Yes, snow and rain this weekend. I should have know it, because we are going camping for our anniversary (Feb 17th) and it has gotten very cold and rainy each time. I also like the "sonic youth" comments. I cannot hear high pitched sounds (family trait, son, so be prepared)but it reminded me of a local Taco Bell that used to play classical music instead of pop/rock stuff. It kept the high school kids from hangin' around while I thoroughly enjoyed the music. :-)
