Dear Diary

This past weekend, my wife and I took our little family up to our mountain home. Okay. I realize that is something like saying "...the movie star, and all the rest, here on Gilligan's Isle". The three of us went up to get away for a while, and to stop and see the Great-Grandparents in Fresno. The home in the hills no longer has a connection to the internet. This would be a part of the reason that I haven't blogged in a few days. That, and nothing that I felt like writing about happened of late.

Having spent the weekend unplugged from The Matrix, I feel pretty good. I spent a lot of wonderful time with my daughter. I wouldn't trade that for anything. It was good to be just the three of us. Myself, R. and Lauren. Lauren has really started to develop a personality, and I love it.

I've started a new thing for Lauren. I'm keeping a journal of our daily lives, and writing it to her to read when she is older. I hope that having someone real to write to will keep me dedicated to writing. I always wanted to keep track of my life, but I never felt compelled to write to myself. After all, who reads their own journals with any real interest? I'm hoping to leave my daughter a little history to keep all her own.

That's what I've been up to.

That is a fantastic idea. Not only will she have thousands of pictures to look at due to the advent of digital cameras, but she'll be able to read about all the little things that happened when she was young.

Nick. I realize now that I do not have your email. You should give it to me. Mine is johnsonmickelson@yahoo.com. Email me.

But for now I'll just ask you through your blog. So I was wondering about Northwest Lineman College. Do you know how much that costs or how hard it is to get into the college? I'm not about to drop out of BC or anything, but I do find your line of work intriguing so I am wondering about that college or related colleges. Let me know.
