Although it can be exciting when your baby appears to be advancing slightly quicker than is average, some things are not all that desirable. It appears that little Lauren is going to be getting some of her teeth very soon. Early tooth development runs in my wife's family. She's only 8 weeks old, and it looks as though she will be getting some teeth in the near future.
Other baby developments are very fun to watch. Lauren has been flipping herself from her stomach to her back. She has also developed a lot of strength in her neck, and is able to hold her head up very well (even though it is quite the head). I've really enjoyed spending all my time with her. She is much more aware of her surroundings now. When we sing songs to her that have interactive hand motions, she seems to anticipate the ones that will involve being tickled, or having her nose touched. It is altogether wonderful.
Buy bananas, fund South American terrorists. Kids can say that if they eat their fruit, the terrorists win.

That's all I have to say.
I should say that I don't know for sure that her teeth are coming in - but given her heritage, she will likely be feeling it soon.
