You Load Sixteen Tons, And What Do You Get?

Do you love paying your power bill? Do you love to watch your meter spin so much that you turn on your washer, dryer, dishwasher, air-conditioning, television, stereo, and your oven so it will go faster. Well, now there's more than one way that you can send money off to the power company. The company store is open for business.

I am pretty enthusiastic about the company I keep, or the company that keeps me. The company has started a website that sells logo apparel of all kinds. I've bought a couple hats and the onesie shown here. I have to wait a little bit until Lauren can wear it.

The website is open to all. If you love your power company (not that I would expect anyone but an employee or family member to be interested) you can brand yourself a loyal customer when you head out to pay your bill. At work, we were given our choice of anything from the store as a reward for working safely. I chose a khaki ball cap and a black zip-up sweatshirt. As much as I like wearing company logo gear, I'm glad we don't get paid in scrip.

Saint Peter don't you call me, 'cause I can't go...
